Replace a missing tooth permanently with a titanium implant that looks, feels and functions like your natural tooth. The gold standard in tooth replacement — no removable plate, no damage to adjacent teeth, lasts a lifetime with proper care.
When a tooth is lost, the bone in that area begins to shrink — a process called resorption. This is why long-term denture wearers develop a sunken facial appearance, and why adjacent teeth eventually drift into the gap. A dental implant halts this process by providing the bone with the stimulation it needs to remain healthy and strong.
Implants consist of three components: the titanium post (the implant itself, placed in the bone), the abutment (a connector between the post and crown), and the crown (the visible tooth-coloured cap). The titanium post is biocompatible — the human body does not reject it — and integrates permanently with the jaw through a process that typically takes 3–6 months.
At Palace Dental Centre, we use medical-grade titanium implants and conduct full clinical and radiographic assessment before any procedure to confirm bone volume, assess anatomy, and plan precisely. Our goal is a result that you forget is not your own tooth.
Dental implants can replace a single missing tooth, multiple teeth, or even support a full denture. We advise the most suitable option at your consultation.
One implant post and one crown replace a single missing tooth. No adjacent teeth are affected. The most common implant procedure — from KSh 100,000.
Two implants support a bridge spanning three or more teeth — eliminating the need for individual implants for every missing tooth in a row.
For patients missing all or most teeth, 2–4 implants can anchor a full denture firmly in place — eliminating the movement and discomfort of conventional removable dentures.
Implant treatment is a process over several months — here's what each stage involves.
Clinical examination and dental X-ray to assess bone quantity and quality. We confirm suitability and provide a full treatment plan and quote.
Under local anaesthesia, the titanium post is surgically placed into the jawbone. A temporary cover is placed. The procedure typically takes 45–60 minutes per implant.
The implant integrates with the jawbone over 3–6 months. During this period normal activities can resume. Progress is checked at a review appointment.
Once the implant is confirmed stable, the abutment (connector post) is attached. Impressions are taken for the final crown fabrication.
The permanent porcelain or zirconia crown is fitted and shade-matched to your adjacent teeth. Bite and aesthetics are checked and adjusted for a perfect result.
AAR, Heritage and KCB Insurance accepted. M-Pesa, cash and card welcome. Final price confirmed at consultation — no hidden charges.
Get My Free QuoteImplants cost more upfront but last longer, preserve bone, and leave adjacent teeth untouched. Most patients consider them the best long-term value.
